What is included in garden maintenance?
A typical visit covers weeding, hedge and shrub trimming, garden-bed tidy, blowing down paths and a general presentation check. Mowing, fertilising, spraying, mulching and green-waste removal can be added to the same visit if you want them.
How often should gardens be maintained in Mackay?
Most homes look best on a fortnightly or monthly visit. In the wet season growth and weeds jump, so fortnightly is common. Dry months can often drop back to monthly. We set the cycle to the property, not a one-size schedule.
Do I need to be home?
No. Give us gate access or a code and we will complete the work and leave the property tidy. Photos after the visit are available if you want them.
Do you service units, body corporate and commercial sites?
Yes. We run regular garden maintenance for houses, dual occupancies, complexes and commercial properties across Mackay. Scope and frequency are set to the site and the body corporate or manager’s requirements.
What if the garden has been left for months?
We do a one-off catch-up first — heavier weeding, prune-back and tidy — then move you onto a regular visit so it doesn’t get away again. The catch-up is quoted separately because it takes longer than a standard maintain.
Do you replace dead plants or just maintain what’s there?
Standard maintenance is care of what is already in the beds. If plants have died or gaps need filling, we can source and plant replacements and quote that as extra supply-and-install.
What if it rains on the booked day?
Light rain is usually fine for garden work. Storms or waterlogged beds get moved so we don’t churn soil or leave a mess. We’ll contact you if the day has to change.
