How often should you mow in Mackay?

Many Mackay lawns need a cut every 1 to 2 weeks. Warm nights and storms can push grass past a neat height in days. Wait three weeks and you could end up scalping long, wet grass. That's harder on the lawn and slower for a crew.

Most of our clients are on a fortnightly mow. We only mow weekly for some high-profile sites.

Drier months

When the rain eases, growth slows. Many lawns settle to every 3 to 4 weeks, sometimes longer in a dry spell. Don't scalp it to make it last. Take off about one-third of the leaf height each visit. Edges and nature strips still need attention, even when the middle of the yard looks quiet.
